I use

While his work is very different than mine, I one of my favorite photographers is Thomas Barbey. He hand composites his photos together to create some incredibly stunning and surreal scenes. I first saw his work in a gallery in 2008 and was so intrigued with his work and creative process. He pre-visualizes each shot and in a lot of ways he has inspired me to try and do the same with my work.

One of my favorite photos was taken at Proxy Falls in Oregon. It's such a special image to me because it captures an authentic and unstaged moment between a man and his dog inside a beautiful landscape scene.

In the Spring of 2015 I finished my Sophomore year of college and decided to not go back. From that point on, I was able to dedicate 100% of my time to creating art and I was fortunate enough to make a living doing so.
